Kate Macrae is a dynamic communications coordinator who supports our clients with writing, researching, planning and implementation services. Prior to joining Kirk & Co., she gained experience in the technology sector supporting a wide range of clients. One of her key projects was an artificial intelligence and machine learning bot deployed to detect and track toxic sentiment on Twitter towards all incumbent candidates running during the 2021 federal election. This role saw her working in a fast-paced start-up setting, equipping her with the skills needed to thrive in a constantly evolving environment.

Kate lives in East Vancouver and holds a B.A.H. in Political Studies and Global Development from Queen’s University.
