Melanie Belanger-Finn is a senior communications manager who supports clients in the design and implementation of communications, public consultation and stakeholder engagement programs. Melanie specializes in housing and community development projects going through the rezoning process with experience in Vancouver, Richmond, Port Moody, and the City of North Vancouver. She has completed two courses as part of SFU City100 series in Community Planning and Housing Policy.
Melanie’s skills include writing, research, media analysis, leading event logistics and seamlessly integrating into project teams requiring additional communications support. She particularly enjoys providing on-site support for engagement events for private and public-sector clients, including Brightside Community Homes Foundation, QuadReal, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, and the Capital Regional District. Since March 2016, she has been volunteering weekly in an after-school program Ray-Cam Cooperative Centre in Vancouver.
Born and raised in Montreal, Melanie is fluent in English and French. She now lives in Vancouver and has a Master of Management from UBC’s Sauder School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) from the University of British Columbia.
